Built in 1900, the Ravalli County Courthouse was saved from demolition by the Bitter Root Valley Historical Society in the 1980s and transformed into the Ravalli County Museum. With a focus on History, Art and Natural History of the Bitter Root Valley and beyond, the Museum strives to offer each guest a unique peek into the rich history of Ravalli County and those in the past who shaped our present. With both permanent and changing exhibits, annual Cultural Heritage events, community programs and more, there is something for everyone at the Museum, right in the heart of Hamilton, Montana.
